About Library Programs
There's always something going on at your local library. Libraries are not just spaces to borrow creative tools, but to make one’s own. Our libraries host a variety of workshops and other community events and programs to teach new skills or develop personal growth in collaboration with others. Our libraries act as community spaces bringing people of all walks of life and ages together. Meet your library programmers here.

Trunk or Treat 2023
Your 2023 Trunk or Treating Theme
Save the date! Your Minden Library will hold the annual event on October 30, 2023 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM, and your Springhill Library will hold the annual event on October 26, 2023 from 4:30PM to 6:30PM. With Fall just around the corner, your Webster Parish Libraries and partnering organizations, The Greater Minden Chamber and Springhill NW Chamber of Commerce, are gearing up for the highly anticipated annual Trunk or Treat event! Together, our commitment to community engagement and bringing joy to families aligns perfectly this year’s Trunk or Treat themed – ‘A Ghostly Gathering!’ (Friendly ghosts, that is!)
Get ready for a ‘spook’tacular, fun evening of face painting, balloon art, marshmallow roasting, pumpkin painting contests, wild world animals, and MUCH more! Embrace the mystery of the unknown as you enter a creepy-crawly sensory room sure to give you the heebie-jeebies upon first touch!
Whether you're a goblin, a ghost, or a superhero in disguise, make sure to bring your family, friends, and your sweet tooth to Trunk or Treat 2023!
