Reserve a Room
Your libraries have several rooms available for booking depending upon which location you choose. Meeting space rental is free of charge within library operating hours; however, some spaces are accessible outside of operating hours for a fee. See below for more information.

Minden Meeting Room
This meeting room is located within the Minden branch. It can be reserved from 8:30 AM until 7:30 PM Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays free of charge. A small kitchen area with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee pot is available. This room is not available for after-hours rental. Floating assets, such as a digital projector, a laptop, an overhead projector, a portable easel, slide projector, and a portable screen are available for checkout upon request. It is approximately 660 sq. ft. (30'x22'). Max Assembly Occupant Load is 44.
The Stewart Center
This meeting room is located within the Stewart Center. A lobby filled with seating and a small kitchen area housing a sink, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave can be accessed from this space. Reservations are free of charge from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. After 5:00 PM Monday through Friday and on Saturdays, reservations will be charged a fee of $25 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. The room is closed to reservations on Sundays. Floating assets, such as a digital projector, a laptop, an overhead projector, portable easel, slide projector and a portable screen are available for check out upon request. When you book this space after hours, you are renting the joining lobby space as well which contains the small kitchenette area. The interior of the meeting room is approximately 351 sq. ft. (27'x13'). Max Assembly Occupant Load is 24.
The Quad
This multipurpose room, designed with our business community needs in mind, is located within the Minden Main Branch. It is available for local businesses to book from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays free of charge. This room is not available for after-hours use. There is a minimum of 15 participants required. Patrons wishing to book a meeting space for non-business purposes are encouraged to book our Minden Meeting Room or Stewart Center Meeting Room in order to keep this area as open to the public as possible. Floating assets include a laptop, tables, chairs, a portable easel, room dividers, a coffee station, and four 6’x8’ vertical rolling glassless mirrors. Floating assets are made available upon request. It is approximately 888 sq. ft. (14'x4'')+(32'x26'). Max Assembly Occupant Load is 60.
Springhill Meeting Room
This meeting room is located within the Springhill branch, but has an outside access door for after-hours use. It can be reserved from 8:30 AM until 6:30 PM Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays free of charge. A small kitchen area equipped with an icemaker/refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, coffee pot, popcorn machine and microwave is available. This room is available for after-hours rental for a minimum $50 fee that covers 2 hours of use. Each additional hour beyond that is $25 per hour. The building cannot be rented for less than $50. All meetings must conclude by 8:30 PM. Floating assets such portable screen and a laptop, are available to check out upon request.
Private Rooms
Private rooms are typically available on a first-come first-served basis. Two small private rooms are available at the Minden location, and one large room is available at the Springhill location. Rooms are not to be used for tutoring purposes or any other purpose in which a person is being compensated for services rendered. For situations in which academic testing is taking place, a private room may be reserved at the Minden location. Otherwise, if rooms are in use upon arrival, seating is available within other more secluded library areas. Please ask a library staff member if further assistance is needed.
