About the Event
Webster Parish Libraries launched its annual Trunk-or-Treat events in Fall 2021 to offer a safe, family-friendly alternative to traditional trick-or-treating while fostering community connections with local businesses. Quickly embraced in both northern and southern parts of the parish, the event has grown in popularity each year. Held on or just before Halloween, the celebration invites children to trick-or-treat from the creatively decorated trunks of vehicles sponsored by local organizations—bringing the entire community together in festive spirit.

Minden - Safety Information
To continue providing a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience, several event features from previous years will once again be in place at this year's Minden Trunk or Treat. Pedestrian barriers will help create clearly defined trunk lines, making it easier for families to navigate the event while maintaining an orderly flow. These lines will be clearly marked with signage for improved visibility and direction. The attraction house will continue to follow its designated route, with guests lining up via the Stewart Center back ramp, traveling through the attraction house, and exiting near the main library. Library staff will be easily identifiable in Webster Parish Library t-shirts, and we encourage parents to show our logo to their children before the event so they know to seek assistance from a library staff member if they become separated from their family. These measures have helped make the event safer and more efficient, and we look forward to continuing them as part of another fun-filled Trunk or Treat for the community.
